M-8 is a recording of the evening scene at a Tennnoji zoo in Osaka in the 1990s.
I recorded it with my Sony MD Walkman. Next to me, a homeless man who had been drinking heavily closed his eyes and listened to the chorus of monkeys.Psychedelic Afternoon…

90年代よりspeedometer.として活動、6作のアルバムをリリース。イルリメとのユニット「SPDILL」、中納良恵（ego-wrappin’）、山中透(ex.ダムタイプ)とのコラボレーションから、二階堂和美の編曲、ビッグポルノ楽曲担当、市川準監督作品への楽曲提供など。2010年からAUTORA(山本アキヲ+高山純+砂十島NANI+森雄大)としても2作のアルバムをリリース。アパレルブランド「mizuiro-ind」のコレクションに楽曲提供、2019年秋よりspeedometer.の活動再開。2020年には、浦朋恵・metomeと三者共作での南海エキゾ怪盤「Dark, Tropical.」（P-VINE）をリリース、2021年、鴨田潤主宰のJUN RECORDSより17年ぶりのミニアルバムをリリース。2023には20年ぶりのフルアルバム「afterglow -残照- 」 を鴨田潤（イルリメ）のJUN RECORDSよりリリース。はじのさと ASANOYA BOOKS 店主。2024年6月、地元・大阪藤井寺市にて音楽レーベル「ASANOYA BOOKS」を設立。

Japanese Osaka-based music producer. I have been active as “speedometer.” (and more) since the 1990s. Recently, I released an album “afterglow -ZANSHOU-” in 2023,In 2024, I started my own label “ASANOYA BOOKS” and released own album “suburbs”.
